WOW!!! Who knew you could have so much fun with dog bones??? We did all sorts of thing with Milkbones this week. We painted with them.
We used them to learn about the concept Big v. Little.
We searched for them in the sensory table, talked about what color they were, and counted them.
And bone weren't the only thing we were having fun with, we also got to stamp pets all over our letter for the week P!
We were able to make different pets using pattern blocks.
And thanks to our October Playdough Momma, we were able to make pet food for all of our pets. This was a great activity to give those fine motor muscles a workout and the kids LOVED it!!!
It was another GREAT week with an awesome group of kids!!! I am so blessed.
This week we had so much fun learning about friends and what it means to be a good friend. We talked about sharing, using kind hands, and loving one another. It was AWESOME watching the kids practice being a good friend, they were so sweet to one another and really worked well together!
We also read our 1st class book. Friends!! The kids LOVED seeing themslef in a book, and it was a great way to reinforce each other's names!
We also talked about circles and got a chance to make circles with paint, markers, and our bodies. Check them out!
After we made the circles with our bodies, we played Ring-Around-The-Rosie!!! They LOVED it ( I think we played it soooo many times some of them got dizzy :)
I was another really GREAT week with an AWESOME group of kids! I am so proud of them!
It was another GREAT week in our room as we continued to learn about our friends and their families! The kids continued to explore the room and find all the great things we have to play with!
We got out shaving cream and let them explore different textures!
They even got to play outside and enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
But, by far their favorite activity this week was talking about you!!! They loved telling me all about you and your families while they painted, cut, or glued their pictures together. Their eyes would lite up anytime we talked about families and love. They absolutely adore all of you, and it's easy to see why.
I feel truly blessed to work with such a great group of families this year. Thank you so much for sharing your little ones with me.
