We had a lot of icy cold fun exploring ice and snow! We started the week playing a game that allowed the kids to explore many different ways to melt ice. They blew on the ice, held it in their hand, sprinkled salt on it, and even floated it in warm water! Throughout the course of the game they discovered that salt and warm water worked the best! They were rolling the dice and chanting for 5 and 6 (the numbers that correlated with salt and warm water).
And we had a blast using the parachute to make snowballs fly in the air!
Check out how big and smart these kiddos are getting! We are now reading predictable books as a whole group! They are working so hard to follow along with their friends. Did your child read Bears, Bears, Bears to you?
They are really starting to look like Kindergartners! I am so proud of them.
